Rooftop Brewing: pints over the Ship Canal

No cocktail program, no host stand, no dress code. Rooftop Brewing is a neighborhood brewery in Interbay whose deck happens to look out over the Ship Canal, and it is the most Seattle place on this entire site.

The vibe

Dogs everywhere, kids welcome, food truck out front most days. You order a pint at the bar and carry it upstairs yourself. A round for four costs what a single cocktail runs at the hotel rooftops.

The view

Boats on the canal, the Ballard Bridge opening and closing, sunsets over Magnolia. It’s not a skyline — it’s better on the right afternoon.

Best time to go: Sunday afternoon, bring the dog.
